Friday fish fries

BLUE ISLAND, ILLINOIS — Fraternal Order of Eagles 1332 features Friday fish fries 5 to 8 p.m. Fridays through March 30. The event features fish and entertainment. Lenten fish feast

EAST CHICAGO — Msgr. Connelly Council 1700 and the Columbian Club of East Chicago will hold its Lenten fish fry and all-you-can-eat soup and salad bar, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Fridays through March 23. Fish dinners include lake and ocean perch, shrimp, frog legs, walleye, baked tilapia, salmon, crab cakes and fish tacos. The event will be at 1104 Knights of Columbus Drive.

HAMMOND — Hammond Mohawks will host its annual fish fry every Friday during Lent starting Fridays through March 30 at 4040 Calumet Ave. Dinners offered from 4 to 7 p.m. are all-you-can-eat pollock with all the sides. Plated dinners include lake perch, walleye, fried shrimp, saute Cajun shrimp with rice; walleye, fried shrimp, frog legs combo; combo shrimp and lake perch and frog leg dinner. Call 219-933-9823.

MERRILLVILLE — St. Andrew's all-you-can-eat Lenten fish and pierogi dinners are served from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Fridays, Friday through March 23 at 801 W. 73rd Ave. Dinners include fried or baked fish, pierogi, coleslaw, potato or fries.

WESTVILLE — The Friday night fish fry crew of the Westville United Methodist Church will hold fish fries from 4 to 7 p.m. every Friday through March 30. Dinner includes  fish, shrimp or chicken strips, choice of potato, coleslaw or mac and cheese or applesauce and drink. Cost is $9 for adults and $8 for senior citizens. Children's meal is $5.
