Borman lane closures planned from state line to Burr St.

Overnight lane closures on the Borman Expressway are planned Thursday through Sunday from the Illinois state line to Burr Street.

According to the Indiana Department of Transportation, at 9 p.m. Thursday, crews will close the two left lanes of the eastbound expressway near Indianapolis Boulevard to install an overhead tourist information sign. The work is expected to be completed by midnight.

At 10 p.m. Friday, the three right lanes of the westbound Borman will be closed near Burr Street as workers replace pavement following work on sensors in the road. The three lanes will remain closed until 7 a.m. Saturday.

The center lane will be closed through 8 a.m. Sunday.

The three right lanes will close again between 5 a.m. and 8 a.m. Sunday to allow crews to clean up after performing the weekend work.
