Author and speaker Storm Cunningham is expected to visit Northwest Indiana next month as part of a two-day seminar to inspire residents to begin community development projects.
Cunningham is speaking at the Genesis Convention Center in Gary on March 1 and March 2. Cunningham, CEO of ReCitizen, will promote his online tools for building community engagement and will talk about how residents working on small projects could yield large benefits for an area. Anthony Broadnax, founder and president of Broadnax Enterprises, organized the event.
Cunningham will give a keynote address on the first day from 6:30 p.m to 7:30 p.m. and he will host a workshop for people interested in leading community improvement projects on the second day from 10 a.m to 1 p.m.
The March 1 event costs $30 and is targeting region political and community leaders and residents to attend. The March 2 event costs $20.
