Gary Black Film Fest Oct. 5-7 will show Townsend's 'Hive'

GARY | The Urban League is collaborating with the Gary International Black Film Festival to present a weekend of films Oct. 5 through 7 at Indiana University Northwest.

Urban League Night is Oct. 5. Tickets are $25 and available at the Urban League.

Filmmaker Robert Townsend will join ticket holders for a reception at 6 p.m. in the Savannah Room. At 7, "In the Hive," Townsend's latest film about the power of love, will be shown. That's followed by a post-screening discussion at 8:30.
