GARY | Someone broke into the Rally's restaurant at 3600 Broadway, leaving pry marks and burn marks on the safe, police said.
Someone broke into the restaurant, prying open the east door between 1 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. Thursday, Gary police Cpl. Gabrielle King said.
A manager who arrived to open the restaurant discovered the alarm did not go off when he entered. He noticed the safe had been moved and damaged, King said.
The manager was unsure if the alarm had been set the night before.
