GARY | Two Gary Citgo gas stations were cited Tuesday for selling synthetic marijuana, Indiana State Excise Police said.

The gas stations are at 2100 Virginia St. and 2395 Broadway, police said. Officers removed packages of the alleged synthetic marijuana Tuesday along with cash.

Sarbsit Singh, 20, who worked at the Broadway gas station, was arrested on an outstanding warrant on an armed robbery charge from New York, according to a news release from police.

The gas station on Virginia Street is also known as Yash Food and Fuel and TJ & Jetta Petroleum Inc. The store on Broadway is also known as TJ & Jetta Petroleum Inc.

Additional charges are pending, police said.
