GARY | A 20-year-old Gary man was arrested after allegedly burglarizing a neighbor's home, police said.

Immanuel Means was charged with burglary as a Class B felony after his neighbor saw him running from his home Sunday, according to a probable cause affidavit.

Police arrived after an alarm notified the homeowner that a window had been broken.

The homeowner told police he was missing money from a jacket inside his home and that he had seen his neighbor run into his own home after the alarm sounded.

Police found $460 cash inside a black hooded sweatshirt inside Means' home, according to court documents.

Investigators also found Means was wearing an ankle bracelet with GPS. The bracelet indicated Means was inside the home when the alleged burglary occurred, documents state.
