HAMMOND | A Gary man pleaded guilty Friday to selling heroin to an undercover informant in Lake County, court records show.
Paul Robinson, 23, of Gary, admitted to the charge during a hearing in U.S. District Court, Hammond.
Robinson was charged with the felony last year following an investigation by a local FBI drug task force, prosecutors said in a Friday news release.
On March 16, a confidential informant arranged the $40 purchase of .17 grams of heroin from Robinson, court records allege.
A sentencing date for Robinson in federal court in Hammond had not yet been scheduled Friday.
