GARY | Police are investigating the fatal shooting early Saturday of a Gary man.
Laroi Griffin, 32, died of multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body, according to information from the Lake County coroner's office.
The incident occurred at a housing complex at 1119 W. 21st Avenue, Gary, according to the coroner's office. Griffin's body was found on the rear lawn outside the complex.
He was pronounced dead at 1:32 a.m.
Police had been called to the scene just after midnight Saturday on a report of shots being fired.
