GARY | A 55-year-old man was shot late Tuesday and his Jaguar was missing, police said.

The man was shot about 11 p.m. Tuesday by another man described as 5 foot 8, black and wearing a black hoodie, Gary police Cpl. Gabrielle King said. The shooting occured in the 2200 block of Massachusetts Street, King said.

The 55-year-old, who was taken to the emergency room for treatment, told police his 2002 black Jaguar was missing, King said.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked call Cpl. Ed Gonzalez at (219) 881-4750.
