GARY | The Habitat for Humanity of Northwest Indiana's ReStore will be collecting canned soup and other nonperishable foods for the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana Saturday through Dec. 11.
Donors who bring in at least five cans of soup or other food donations will receive 20 percent off any single item in the store at 6114 W. Ridge Road, Gary.
The ReStore accepts tax-deductible building and home improvement donations for resale at up to 75 percent or more off retail pricing. Items in the store are both new and used.
Proceeds from the sales of the ReStore's merchandise help fund Habitat for Humanity of Northwest Indiana's ongoing efforts to build homes within the community.
