LAKE STATION | A father and son were among three people arrested Tuesday on drug charges, Lake County sheriff's police said.

The men were arrested after officers received tips about drug activity in the area.

James Baker, 55, of Lake Station, was charged with dealing heroin, dealing a controlled substance and dealing marijuana, police said.

His son, Michael A. Baker, 36, of Lake Station, faces charges of dealing heroin, dealing a controlled substance and dealing marijuana.

Police said they found prescription pills and heroin at James Baker's house. Marijuana and prescription pills were found in Michael Baker's house, according to a news release.

Jermaine A. Stanley, 40, of Gary, was arrested and charged with dealing cocaine and possession of marijuana. Deputies said they found marijuana and crack cocaine in his home in the 4800 block of Vermont Place.
