A 30-year-old man was wounded outside a Gary nightclub early Saturday morning, police said.
The man and his friends were walking from their car about 2:15 a.m. Saturday to the entrance of a nightclub on the 5100 block of Broadway in Gary, Cpl. Gabrielle King said. The man told police a black male then pulled up in a silver car and started shooting, King said.
After running back to his car, the man realized he had been shot, King said. Gary Fire Department medics later took the man to the hospital for his injuries.
He told police the man with the gun fled south on Broadway, King said.
