Man tells Gary police two men used guns to steal his firearm

GARY | A 23-year-old man told Gary police he was robbed of his weapon by two men with guns, police said.

The man told police he was leaving a home in the 1500 block of West Fifth Avenue about 10 p.m. Thursday when two men with guns approached him and told him to put his hands up, police Cpl. Gabrielle King said.

They took the man's weapon and ran, police said.
