GARY | A formal swearing-in ceremony will take place Thursday January 26, at 12:30 p.m. for the new city Police Chief Wade Ingram and Public Safety Director Col. Richard Ligon.

The ceremony will take place in the Community Room of the Public Safety Facility, 555 Polk Street. Mayor Karen Freeman-Wilson will perform the ceremony.

Media interviews will be available immediately following the ceremony with Chief Ingram and Col. Richard Ligon.
