GARY | There has been a lot of discussion lately on Gary’s future. What do all these legislative bills mean? How can you get involved and let your voice be heard?
Well, Mayor Karen Freeman-Wilson wants you to be informed and updated every step of the way as each bill that impacts Gary, IN and Northwest Indiana makes its way through the Indiana General Assembly.
Starting Thursday, February 7, from 5– 6 p.m. (Central Time) and every Thursday at 5– 6 p.m. until April 25, the Mayor wants to you call in to hear legislative updates and ask questions. Legislators Rep. Charlie Brown, Rep. Vernon Smith and Sen. Earline Rogers will also be on the calls.
