GARY | The Miller Garden Club will hold its annual plant sale from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Marquette Park Aquatorium, 6918 Oak Ave.

“We will be featuring healthy vegetables and beautiful flowers that members of the garden club have started from seed and/or divided plants, along with a vast assortment of garden paraphernalia, including gently used gardening tools, accessories and various treasures for sale to the public,” President Karin Crane said. "There will be many, many bargains available."

New at this year’s sale are herbs, along with orders for rain barrels, pumps and accessories, composters and Cedar wood birdhouses.

The new rain barrel accessories include plant hangers which allow a rain barrel to blend into the yard and barrel netting that will allow fast growing vines to leaf out and cover the rain barrel with flowers. All items will be available for pick-up at the aquatorium June 1.
