GARY | For the second year Miller-Coors along with Strack & Van Till has partnered with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Indiana to distribute meals to families in need throughout Lake County. This year MillerCoors generously provided holiday meals for over 800 families across Lake County.
“MillerCoors employees were exceptional in volunteering their time and efforts in distributing meals to families in need this year with in our community,” states Lincoln D. Ellis, president and Coe for Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Indiana. Employees of MilleCoors worked with Jeff Stracks form Stack & Van Till distributing meals at Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Indiana’s 6 Club site locations across Lake County on December 19 this year. The families received a ham, stuffing, gravy, vegetables, and a pie! This year, over 800 families received a holiday meal that may have gone without otherwise. “We are grateful for this contribution this year and look forward to working with Miller-Coors in the future,” states Ellis. “Without their support, we literally would have Club members who would not have a family meal to share for the holidays at all.”
