*Tywonekia Leon, 27, of Gary, was found dead from a gunshot wound in an alley on the 700 block between Tyler and Polk streets Wednesday morning, police said.
Family members had reported Leon, of the 1000 block of Greene Street, missing at about 6 p.m. Monday, Gary Police Cpl. Gabrielle King said. Police found her body at 7:50 a.m. Wednesday, King said.
