Musical review hits a high note at Thea Bowman Leadership Academy

Third-grade students take the stage Tuesday at Thea Bowman Leadership Academy Elementary School in preparation for their performance of the songs "Hey Dum Diddley Dum" and "Turn the Glasses Over." Each grade chose different songs to sing, some with musical accompaniment and some with a skit or play. Students announced what they had learned as they began. Courage, cooperation, hard work and persistence were among the lessons the students talked about.
