GARY | Police are investigating a home invasion from early Saturday that left a homeowner without a six-pack of beer and cider.
A 36-year-old man who lives on the 3800 block of Hendricks Street told police he woke up at 4:45 a.m. Saturday to a strange noise in his house, Gary police said. The man got out of bed and found an unidentified man in his house.
The suspect ran out of the house after seeing the homeowner and drove off in a car, police said.
The resident later noticed that a six-pack of beer and two cans of cider were missing from his house.
