GARY | A 21-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy were shot Saturday, Gary police said.
The pair, who police found at Methodist Hospitals Northlake Campus, told police they were riding in a car about 2:45 p.m. Saturday when the driver pulled over near 37th Avenue and Monroe Street to find his phone, police Cpl. Gabrielle King said.
The young men said people came out from between houses and started shooting at them, King said.
