GARY | A Portage man was found dead Wednesday in Gary, officials said.
The cause and manner of death for Norman Klaus were pending late Wednesday, Lake County coroner's spokeswoman Jessica Metros said.
Klaus, 44, of Portage, didn't have any visible trauma, she said.
Gary police are investigating, according to a coroner's news release.
Klaus was pronounced dead at 9:45 a.m in the 11500 block of Benton Street in Gary, the release states.
No further information was available late Wednesday.
