GARY | A 15-year-old boy was reportedly robbed at gunpoint by a group of individuals Sunday afternoon as he walked down 15th Avenue.

According to reports, the victim was walking East on 15th Avenue near Ellsworth Place at approximately 3:50 p.m., when he was approached by three men and one woman.

The victim told police one of the men grabbed his headphones off his head, and then he and another male pulled out guns and demanded he take off his hoodie, shoes and empty his pockets.

One of the suspects has been described as a heavyset black male, wearing a black coat and black pants. The second suspect was identified as a black male with a thin build, wearing a red hoodie. Police are asking anyone with information about the case to contact Gary Police Detective Lorenzo Davis at (219) 881-4738.
