MERRILLVILLE | Purdue University conducts The Big Sell Entrepreneurship Competition from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Radisson Star Plaza, 800 E. 81st Ave., Merrillville. It's a competition that will allow any individual and/or team to introduce their business idea to the public and a group of judges. Admission is $25.
Walk to fight kidney disease

EAST CHICAGO | East Chicago Mayor Anthony Copeland and the Parks and Recreation Department hold an Easter egg hunt from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tod Park. In case of bad weather, the activities will be at Heritage Hall on Tod Avenue near City Hall.
Bunny, Barbie visit Highland
HIGHLAND | The Highland Chamber of Commerce sponsors a visit with the Easter Bunny and Barbie and all their friends at 9 and 10:30 a.m. in the cafeteria at Highland High School, 9135 Erie St. Tickets must be bought in advance and cost $6 for adults and children or $15 for a combo package of two tickets and a photo ticket. Church bazaar, bake sale
MUNSTER | St. Josaphat Ukranian Catholic Parish conducts its annual Easter Bazaar from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the church hall, White Oak Avenue and Ridge Road. It includes a bake sale and sausage sale, ethnic and crafts items, and a demonstration of the art of making Ukranian Easter eggs.
