Fish fry for tornado victims

MUNSTER | Ridge United Methodist Church hosts a fish fry to help Oklahoma tornado victims from 4 to 7 p.m at the church, 8607 Columbia Ave. The menu includes fried perch, baked potatoes, green beans, coleslaw, macaroni and cheese, and homemade desserts. Tickets are $10 for adults and $4 for children, and can be purchased in the church office or at the door.

Dance Alliance free shows

HAMMOND | The annual Tribute to the Beatles is from 4 to 10 p.m. in downtown Hammond. There are several outdoor musicl acts throughout the day. There are food tents, a beer and margarita garden and Beatles movies will be projected onto the sides of the downtown buildings.

Ballet Theatre dance contest

MERRILLVILLE | Indiana Ballet Theatre hosts a dance competition all day long at the Radisson Hotel at Star Plaza as a fundraiser to renovate the historic Crown Point building that will be The Classical Arts Centre. This competition is to highlight the artistic achievement of dancers and studios.Admission ranges from $50 to $100.
