A 28-year-old Gary man was killed Thursday night in what the Lake County coroner's office is calling a homicide.
Lawrence Mcintosh III, 28, of Morton Street in Gary, was shot at 5 p.m. Thursday at Rico’s Pizza on the corner of West 25th Avenue and Burr Street, according to the coroner's office.
Mcintosh was taken to the Methodist Hospitals Northlake Campus, where he died shortly before 7 p.m., the coroner's office said.
The Gary Police Department did not return calls Friday morning seeking comment.
