GRIFFITH | The Adlerstrong Birthday Walk on Saturday will raise funds for the Ronald McDonald House and Riley’s Children’s Hospital for pediatric brain cancer research.
The walk begins at noon at Griffith High School. There also will be a Red Cross blood drive there. Blood donations should be scheduled in advance. All walkers older than 13 must raise at least $30 to participate.
The Adlerstrong Birthday Walk is in memory of 3-year-old Adler Bryce Shelbourne, who battled cancer until his death Sept. 10.
