GRIFFITH | A woman died in a fire in Griffith late Friday night.
According to the Lake County Coroner's office, a call came into their office about 10:30 p.m. Friday.
The unidentified woman suffered burns, but the cause of death is pending. Griffith police and fire departments are investigating. No additional information was available Saturday.
The fire took place in an apartment complex at 620 N. Elmer St.
