HAMMOND — The Hammond Academy for the Performing Arts & Morton High School Band Department announces its fall fundraiser: ARWPro Wrestling Live at Morton High School.

The band department has been raising funds for the last several years in an effort to invest in new marching band uniforms for the Marching Governors. Students in the band program have done everything from selling poinsettias to repurposing the old band uniforms into pillows in order to raise money.

On Oct. 14 the doors will open at 6:30 p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. bell time. ARWPRO is Northwest Indiana’s premier family friendly wrestling organization and they have worked to help other local organizations in the area through fundraisers such as this. Tickets are $10.

Sponsorships from local business will be accepted through Oct. 10. For more information contact Nick DeJarlais at nedejarlais@hammond.k12.in.us or call 219-989-7316 ext. 1884.
