Hammond man sentenced to 10 years for dealing cocaine
CROWN POINT - Lake Criminal Court Judge Diane Boswell sentenced a Hammond man to 10 years in prison Friday for dealing cocaine.
Lake County Prosecutor Bernard A. Carter said the sentence was imposed on 27-year-old Clifford White who pleaded guilty Oct. 9 to a charge he sold 1.2 grams of cocaine Nov. 19, 2008, to a confidential informant working with the Lake County Drug Task Force. It took place at White's residence in the 7200 block of McCook Avenue in Hammond. -- By Times Staff
