EAST CHICAGO — An 82-year-old woman has died of complications following a car crash, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office. 

Dolores C. Guetzloff, of Hammond, was pronounced dead at 5:01 p.m. Thursday at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Illinois. 

East Chicago police did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The time and date of the car crash was not immediately known, but the incident occurred somewhere in East Chicago, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office. 

Her primary cause of death was ruled complications of multiple injuries in a motor vehicle crash, but hypertensive cardiovascular disease was a secondary factor in her death, according to medical examiner's office.
