HAMMOND | Bishop Noll Institute will hold its annual spring concert, featuring the high school’s concert band and choir, at 6 p.m. today in the newly renovated school auditorium. Admission is free.

The concert will feature the music of "Les Miserables, "a tribute to 50 years of James Bond, pieces from the musical "Rent," "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum," and many more selections.

The Noll concert band is under the direction of Rocco Carioto, and the choir is under the direction of David Herr.

Before the concert, the BNI band will hold a benefit pasta dinner in the cafeteria from 2:30 to 5 p.m. The cost is $7 and includes pasta with spaghetti sauce, salad, bread, dessert, pop or water, and coffee. Proceeds will help pay for the band’s new marching uniforms. Tickets will be available at the door.

Bishop Noll is at 1519 Hoffman St. in Hammond.
