Eight students and two staff members from Bishop Noll Institute in Hammond traveled to Washington D.C. last month to attend the annual March for Life rally. Along pro-life advocates from throughout the nation, the students joined others from the Diocese of Gary to mark the 40th anniversary of the Roe vs. Wade decision on abortion. The group attended the Vigil for Life at the National Basilica of the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, a youth rally at the Verizon Center, and the March for Life rally. They later met with local congressmen to discuss their involvement in supporting life at all stages. While in Washington, the group also toured the Capitol building, and visited the Air and Space Museum, the Holocaust Museum, and the presidential and war memorials.
