HAMMOND | The Challenger Learning Center of Northwest Indiana will be offering their Second Saturday Family Science Program on Saturday, December 8 from 1-3 p.m. with activities following the holiday season.
Families can participate in the mini mission Mars’ Curiosity Christmas, the laser show Laser Holiday, which includes holiday favorites, and the planetarium show Star of Bethlehem, a show that guides the audience through the various historical and astronomical information of the Christmas story along with the various facts concerning our calendar in order to guide them to make their own conclusions as to what this "wonder" star was all about.
To participate in the Second Saturday Family Science Program, which includes all three activities, tickets can be purchased for $15 each for those ages 7 and up. Individual tickets to the laser or planetarium shows can be purchased for $5 each for adults or $3 each for children.
