HAMMOND | Mayor Thomas M. McDermott, Jr. and the Hammond Parks Department are proud to announce the latest concert at the Hammond Civic Center .
Concerts return to the Hammond Civic Center on Saturday, Feb. 22, with Chicago ’s own Common. Common is an American hip-hop recording artist, poet and actor who also stars in the AMC western television series "Hell on Wheels." Common's breakout hit and hip-hop classic, "I Used To Love H.E.R." led to a musical career that has received widespread critical acclaim and commercial success, including two Grammy Awards.
Tickets are available online at Ticketweb. Tickets can also be purchased at the Hammond Civic Center box office beginning Dec. 26. The box office is open Monday through Friday from 9:30am- 5:30pm. No checks please. Tickets to this 21+, general admission show are available on a first come first serve basis.
There is no ‘per person’ limit on the $50 tickets. There will be no designated VIP area and/or VIP passes. There will be no additional charge for parking.
Outside food, beverages, and camcorders are prohibited. Bags may be subject to search. Food and alcohol vendors available on site. Other restrictions may apply. Due to the age restrictions, proper ID required for entrance.
