HAMMOND | Friends, I left the house early this morning. The frost crunched under my feet as I walked out to scrape the windows of my squad. I turned on the car as the freezing air blew on me. The first song that came on was "Cold as Ice". I smiled and was very happy. Why? Our calls for service plummet during cold weather. The bad guys don't like it. I love it.
I wonder if the Chief of Police in Barrow, Alaska (coldest place in US) appreciates his 10 degree average annual temperature?
