Convention visitors authority sets Bring It Home Hero reception

MERRILLVILLE | The South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority, in partnership with Radisson Hotel at Star Plaza, hosts its Bring It Home Hero Ambassador Reception today at the Radisson.

The reception invites members from associations and organizations to learn about creating a positive impact in the community by bringing meetings and events home to the South Shore.

Last year's reception was able to help ambassadors book conferences in the South Shore through 2015 and created an economic impact of $317,5000. Various meetings and conferences during 2013 contributed an economic impact of $2.6 million.
