HAMMOND | An alleged Imperial Gangsters member has entered a plea agreement in Hammond federal court, according to a filing Wednesday.
Anthony “Tall Folks” Baldazo, of East Chicago, agreed to plead guilty to charges of conspiracy to participate in racketeering activity, murder in the aid of racketeering activity and attempted murder in the aid of racketeering activity, along with a drug charge, according to the plea agreement.
Baldazo was indicted in 2012 along two other East Chicago men.
A change of plea hearing was held for Baldazo on Jan. 31, federal court records show. A sentencing is set for Nov. 20.
