HAMMOND | The Hammond Redevelopment Commission will meet at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall.
The commission will hold a public hearing on an additional appropriation for the 2013 redevelopment budget.
The appropriation deals with the $400,000 the Redevelopment Commission is giving Unilever to help pay for the new wrought iron fence at the company's North Hammond site along Indianapolis Boulevard.
When the city closed the tax increment financing district that had been created to benefit Unilever, the $400,000 was set aside to help pay for the beautification project.
The meeting will be held inside Council Chambers, 5925 Calumet Ave.
