HAMMOND | Police are asking for the public's help in finding 24-year-old James Heth.

The Hammond resident has two outstanding warrants — one for revocation of probation and one for failure to appear, Hammond Police Chief Brian Miller said. Both warrants relate to misdemeanor cases. Heth also is a person of interest in other crimes for which he has not yet been charged.

Heth, who is white, is 6 feet tall and weighs 143 pounds. He has been known to hang out in the 900 and 1100 blocks of Michigan Avenue as well as in downtown Hammond.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Hammond Police Department at (219) 853-6490.
