CROWN POINT | Prosecutors on Wednesday charged a Hammond man with two counts of child molesting involving a teenage girl.
A witness described the 13-year-old as "gone" on a cotton candy-flavored liquor provided by Zachary Doyle, 21, before she was found naked, crying and screaming under Doyle, court records state.
The witness told police she grabbed the girl's arm trying to pull the girl out from under Doyle, who also was naked, records state.
Witnesses told police the girl and four girlfriends had been attending a birthday party before arriving at the Hammond apartment building in the 4000 block of Cameron Avenue where Doyle frequently stayed.
The girl walked from the bedroom where she had been attacked to the living room, where she passed out on a couch after another girl helped her and dressed her, court records state.
