HAMMOND | The Champion Taekwondo Institute School of Martial Arts is offering a free two-week trial in honor of National Make a Difference to Children Month.

The two-week trial will be offered anytime between now and the end of August.

The CTI School of Martial Arts, 5503 Calumet Ave., Hammond, hopes to promote healthy activity for children. According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, children and adolescents should practice a minimum of 60 minutes of physical activity each day.

“Taekwondo is an excellent way to help Hammond youth meet these recommendations," said Humberto Prado, owner of the institute.

Parents who are interested in enrolling their children can visit the institute or call (219) 218-5321.
