HAMMOND | On June 19, Hammond police officers conducted a prostitution sting along Stateline Avenue.

A Hammond police officer in an undercover car and was approached by several females who offered him sexual favors in exchange for money. Four local women were arrested.

Michelle Lasseter, 37, of Burnham, Bobbie Long, 42, of Hammond, Alexis Hudson, 28, of Hammond, and Lokeya Caldwell, 30, of Calumet City were all charged with prostitution. Lasseter has previous arrests for prostitution and narcotics. The operation was a success, and we will be performing more this summer.

All four women are still being held in the Hammond City Jail this morning. The bond for in-state residents is $500. The bond for out-of-state residents is $1,000.
