HAMMOND | A benefit dinner will be held Nov. 12 at the American Legion Post 232 in honor of a disabled veteran.
Adam Day was injured in a random drive-by shooting when he was coming home from work. Proceeds from the benefit will help pay for outstanding medical bills.
Tickets for the pig roast are $7 in advance and $10 at the door. The roast will run from 4 to 9 p.m. at the post, 6523 Kennedy Ave.
