HAMMOND | High school students, their families, industrial professionals and others wanting to learn more about Purdue Calumet's School of Technology are invited to attend Technology Day, Thursday April 26, from noon to 5 p.m. on the concourse level of the Student Union & Library.
Visitors can view more than 30 senior student research projects and discuss the projects with the students. There also will be opportunities to discover more about Purdue Calumet academic majors and related job opportunities in technological fields, visit with faculty and academic advisors, and find out about scholarship availability.
The university's School of Technology offers baccalaureate degree programs in Computer Graphics Technology, Computer Information Technology, Construction Management & Engineering Technologies, Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics Engineering Technology, and Organizational Leadership and Supervision, as well as a Master of Science in Technology.
Admission to Technology Day is free. The Student Union & Library is located one-third mile north of Interstate 80/94 to 173rd Street, four blocks east of Indianapolis Boulevard to the traffic light and north into the parking lot immediately south of the building.
