HAMMOND | Visitors of the Indiana Welcome Center are invited to enjoy a holiday light show displayed outside of the building at 7770 Corinne Drive now through Jan. 5.

The light show is being presented five minutes after each hour beginning at 5:05 p.m. The last show will begin at 9:05 p.m. each night.

The light show is coordinated with holiday music played on 89.9 FM, and each session will last about 15 minutes. Visitors can tune in on their car radio to enjoy the music and lights.

“The South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority wanted to add something special to the area this holiday season,” said South Shore CVA President and CEO Speros A. Batistatos. “Visitors and local residents can take a break from holiday shopping and exploring the region to enjoy a great light show at the Indiana Welcome Center.”

Inside the center, "A Christmas Story" Comes Home exhibits and activities also continue through Jan. 5.

For more information on the light show, call (219) 989-7770 or email
