HAMMOND | Visitors will learn the process of making a bronze statue Jan. 26 during an Explore the South Shore: Arts & Culture event at the Indiana Welcome Center.
Artist Oscar Leon plans to work on a mold of Flick's head planned for the welcome center. Flick is a character in the film "A Christmas Story."
Visitors will have the chance to try clay work during the display.
The free event runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
