HAMMOND | Police are searching for a heavyset man who exposed himself to two teens Tuesday in the neighborhoods around Donald E. Gavit Middle School/High School.

The first incident happened on the 7700 block of Birch Drive as a 17-year-old girl was walking home from school, Hammond police said. Another 17-year-old girl reported the man also exposed his genitals to her while she was walking home on the 7400 block of White Oak Avenue.

Both girls kept walking and were not injured, police said. In the second incident, the teenager told police the man shouted at her sexual remarks.

The man was driving a dark SUV with tinted windows, police said.
