HAMMOND | Someone who bought a Mega Millions ticket at a Hammond liquor store for the drawing Tuesday night is going to be $1 million richer.
The winning numbers drawn were 1, 4, 6, 11 and 14, and the Megaball was 30.
According to a news release issued by the Hoosier Lottery, the ticket was sold at Nick's Liquor Mart, 4702 Calumet Ave. The ticket matched the first five numbers but not the Megaball number. The player bought the Megaplier option for $1, and the the value of the ticket jumped from $250,000 to $1 million.
The Megaplier picked Tuesday was 4.
No one matched all six numbers, making the Mega Millions jackpot Friday night worth $290 million.
